Hello! It's Sarah :)

You might be asking what is Young Life and why are you raising money for it?? Young Life is an international non-profit outreach ministry to teens and our mission is to introduce students to Jesus and help them grow in their faith. Young Life has specific outreach ministries for middle school (Wyldlife), high school, college, teen moms (YoungLives), kids with disabilities (Capernaum), military kids (Club Beyond), and kids in the system (YL ONE). I have been involved in Young Life since 2004 when I started volunteering alongside my husband, Kyle, with teens at Aspen High School. Over the last, almost, 20 years I have taken high schoolers to camp, served on Young Life committee in Aspen, gone to camp as a staff spouse while Kyle has been on assignment, became the admin in Fort Collins, served on YoungLives committee in Fort Collins, lead college & middle school small groups, mentored college students, served on assignment at a Young Life camp, and most recently become a Wyldlife leader. This ministry has not only been a blessing in my life, but has blessed our whole family, and allowed us to serve our community and show kids, parents, and our neighbors the boundless love of Jesus.

As most of you know I have now been on Young Life staff in Northern Colorado for just over five years. I started as the office admin and my job has been slowly expanding. I am now the Operations Manager for our growing Young Life area and currently raising financial support to cover my benefits package and camp costs as a volunteer Wyldlife leader. Over the last five years I have had the privilege and blessing of being the only staff member who has not had to raise my salary, so I gladly offered to rally a team of supporters to come alongside me and raise $11,000 for our Young Life area to afford my new position... this is where you come in!
